Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team at F1Soft International. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that power Nepal's leading fintech products including eSewa, FonePay and many more.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend services using Java or Node.js
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality
- Participate in architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimize application performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java, Node.js or Python
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture
- Familiarity with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
