Data Analyst

About the Role

eSewa, Nepal's first digital wallet, is looking for a Data Analyst to help us make data-driven decisions. You will analyze transaction data, customer behavior and business metrics to provide actionable insights that drive product and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets from our payment platform to identify trends and patterns
• Build dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI or similar tools
• Work with the product team to define KPIs and track business performance
• Conduct A/B testing and interpret results
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure data quality and pipeline reliability
• Present findings to senior management in a clear, compelling manner

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
• 2–3 years of data analysis experience
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI or Metabase
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts
• Experience in fintech or financial services is a plus
