About the Role
Standard Chartered Bank Nepal is looking for a Risk Analyst to join our Risk Management team. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating risks across our banking operations in Nepal.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct credit risk assessments for corporate and retail loan portfolios
- Develop and maintain risk models and scorecards
- Prepare monthly risk reports for senior management and regulators
- Monitor market and operational risk indicators
- Ensure compliance with NRB regulations and global SC risk standards
- Collaborate with business teams on risk appetite and controls
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field; MBA preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in banking risk or credit analysis
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Knowledge of NRB regulations and Basel frameworks
- Attention to detail and strong written reporting skills
- CFA or FRM certification is a plus
